There is nothing as absurd in the meaningless toil, haphazard and random labor. While we are ordained indeed to work in providing for subsistence, but moreso to sustain our aspiration for individual progress and the quest for the noblest purpose in life.
Beyond the collective quest for social justice espoused by various ideologies, it boils down to indiviual satisfaction. For the more spiritual among us:
